CanFund
CAN Fund (Canadian Athletes Now Fund) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Canadian athletes in their pursuit of excellence. By providing direct funding to athletes, CAN Fund helps cover essential training, equipment, and living expenses, allowing athletes to focus on their preparation and performance.
Last winter, I received CAN Fund support at a critical time, which allowed me to plan a two-week training and racing trip to Europe, where I came 2nd at the largest attended international race I have participated in so far.
The organization fosters a strong sense of community and national pride, encouraging Canadians to contribute and support their athletes. CAN Fund plays a vital role in empowering athletes to achieve their goals and represent Canada on the world stage, reflecting the values of determination, perseverance, and national pride.
